As your Local Board Deputy Chair, Katrina leads a number of portfolios including Community Development, Arts and Culture.
Katrina brings years of Board experience and a history of sensible decision making to her governance roles, strongly advocating for careful spending, and for the crucial transport and infrastructure solutions our community desperately needs.
As a local mother, wife and child-cancer survivor, Katrina strongly advocates for improved health and disability services across our community. She is a passionate advocate on the Regional Disability Advisory, CMDHB and Chairperson of the Manukau East Council of Social Services.
Katrina is a successful education specialist holding several degrees including Masters in Educational Leadership, Management and Policy; her previous teaching career includes 10 years as a Head of Department at Elim College. Katrina will ensure our community thrives, with quality facilities, inclusive leadership and strong economic management.
