Mark Thomas

Council Candidate for Albert-Eden-Puketāpapa

Mark Thomas

Are you happy after 9 years of Auckland Council? City Vision decision makers have delivered the troubling Mt Albert village upgrade, wasteful $30m Chamberlain Park plan, Unitary Plan problems and worsening traffic congestion.  We need change.

Mark leads a business solving international city problems. The World Sustainability Congress honoured him with its Leadership Award for ‘Outstanding Contribution Towards City Building’.

He served on what was called one of Auckland’s most effective local boards. He knows how to work with whoever is mayor to get more accountable CCO’s, better transport, less wasteful spending.

He has actively supported many local environmental/community groups within our area over 25-years. He’s a member of Mt Albert and Mt Roskill community patrols, with a Dominion Road office.

Auckland needs new council leaders for the 2020’s who listen, understand council but bring real-world skills to effectively solve our challenges.
