Local Board Candidate for Albert-Eden (Owairaka)

DHB Candidate for Auckland District Health Board

Monique Poirier

I am a proud local resident and successful business owner who is fed up with the lack of accountability of the current council.

Born and bred in Mt. Albert, I attended Marist Primary and Marist College, and have a Master’s degree in political studies. I have the privilege of working with children and their families every day, and I understand the massive impact Council is having on Aucklanders and their lives. We need change.

I believe in genuine consultation, more transparent governance, and cutting wasteful spending. I am passionate about finding better and smarter solutions to local transport issues, and will fight for Eden and Chamberlain Parks. Dedicated to serving the community, I want Albert-Eden to be the best and safest place to live in Auckland for you and your family – a place where your voice is heard, respected, and valued.
