Constable Don Allan
Maungakiekie-Tāmaki Local Board Member

Current local board member, I have lived in Onehunga for over 30 years with my family. We love the central location, the quality of our schools, community centres and retail opportunities our local businesses and community groups have to offer.

Over the last 12 years, I have worked in Onehunga as your local Police Community Constable. My focus has been on crime prevention-based policing. I am passionate about community safety and have a strong working commitment to the community I serve.

I have organised a number of Community Patrol groups for our suburbs and mentor over 100 Neighbourhood Support groups throughout Maungakiekie.

I am committed to ensuring that your rates are spent wisely. It is time that council gets on with things that matter to us, cleaner streets, better traffic management, reliable council services for our parks and safer neighbourhoods.
