Second Round of Nominations Open for Auckland Local Elections

The second round of candidate nominations for this year's Auckland local elections have now opened.

Communities and Residents (C&R) invites like-minded and enthusiastic candidates interested in standing for:

  • Albert-Eden-Puketepapa Ward (two governing body positions)
  • Maungakiekie-Tamaki Ward (one governing body position)
  • Orakei Ward (one governing body position)
  • Whau Ward (one governing body position)
  • Howick Local Board (Howick and Botany subdivisions)
  • Maungakiekie-Tamaki Local Board (Maungakiekie subdivision)

We are also inviting expressions of interest for:

  • Howick Ward (two governing body positions)
  • North Shore Ward (two governing body positions)

If you are over the age of 18, a member of C&R, a New Zealand citizen and enrolled on the electoral roll, your nomination is welcome.

C&R is a centre-right local body political group that has served Aucklanders for over 80 years.

Nominations close 5pm, Tuesday 30 April. Candidates will be advised of the selection meeting date.
