Jack Tan

Born Malaysian, our family migrated to Mt Eden in 1989 and have lived in Greenlane with my wife and two children for 16 years.We love our local community. I have worked in Telecommunications consultancy for Central Government, corporations and communities across our country for 23 years.

As an Electronics Engineer and MBA graduate, I offer balanced and pragmatic approaches to solving problems and the confidence to execute win-win solutions with real outcomes that benefit us all.

If elected I will advocate for; accommodating growth while retaining quality of life, no net reduction in parking spaces surrounding local shopping and residential street areas, better procurement practices to stop wasteful spending and better placement of bus and bike lanes.
