Versatile executive with considerable legal and government experience. Leadership team at Financial Services Council NZ, plus consulting in the retirement village industry.

Current local board member, certified RMA Commissioner, portfolio lead for planning. Troy holds Council processing planners firmly to account, advocates for community views. He wants masterplans for recreational amenities like Madill’s Farm, Liston, Colin Maiden implemented.

Former solicitor, past Parnell Community Trust chair, founder of a Northland coast care project. As past Hobson Community Board chair, Troy started the vision for the successful ‘circumnavigable’ Ōrākei Basin Walkway.

Troy has lived in Remuera for 50 years, married to Janet, three young adult children Ella, twins George and Louis.

A leader who’s interest-based, strategic, intent on sustaining environmental and lifestyle qualities in Ōrākei. Troy champions planned growth, protection of green spaces and heritage/character retention.
